A Little about us....

Dr. John A. Cooper, Jr. started his dental practice in June of 1990. His predecessor's Dr. Louis Law and Dr. Robert Rowen, had their practices for many years before Dr. Cooper acquired them. Dr. Cooper had moved his practice from N. Duke St. to it's present location in 2001. Dr. Cooper grew up in Lancaster and attended Moravian College. He fulfilled his dental requirements at Temple University. Dr. Cooper is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Pennsylvania Dental Association and Lancaster County Dental Society.

Dr. Cooper spends many hours yearly attending local and national continuing education seminars. He and his staff will do their utmost to provide you with excellent dental care. Dr. Cooper is blessed with his lovely wife, Rosa.

What to expect on your first visit...

Complete dental care requires a thorough diagnosis of existing and potential problems. During your first visit, we will take the time to get to know you and your health. We will take the necessary x-rays and examine teeth for decay and gum/bone disease. We will also evaluate the soft tissues and the alignment of existing teeth. Patients needing more extensive treatment may require a separate consultation appointment.

We accept new patients from three years old and up. Our patients come to us from all different backgrounds, expectations and priorities, and we try hard to provide them with service that makes them most comfortable. To schedule your first appointment, please contact us at 717-392-3211

Payment

Payment at the time of service is required. We will accept cash, personal checks and MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express credit cards. Payment plans for major dental work are available through CareCredit©.

We participate with the following insurance companies: Delta Dental Premiere, Met Life Dental, United Concordia (some), Guardian, Aetna, Cigna, and Blue Cross Dental.

If you have another dental insurance carrier we will assist you by contacting the insurer to see what they expect to pay for your treatment. We will help you to complete the necessary forms and submit them to your insurance carrier. We will ask you to pay for your dental care and you will be reimbursed by your insurance company for the amount that they cover.
